The Art of Student Teaching is an exhibition of works created by the K-12 students of Tyler Art Education Student Teachers. The exhibition is held at the end of the Student Teaching semester each term. For the very first time, we are hosting our exhibition in the virtual STELLA Gallery! This means all of our student artists can see their work and that of their peers. The show’s reception is held at the end of exhibit week and is widely attended by cooperating teachers, by student artists and their families, and by friends and family of student teachers. In addition to being a display of student work, the show provides a valuable resource to art educators who gain from the show inspiration in their own teaching roles. This is also a great opportunity to gain insight into the realities of virtual learning and teaching.
