Sarah Rowley
This is a piece based on a time I was cooking with my aunt. At the time, I wanted to document this moment and thought nothing of it. Looking back, this image serves as a sweet memory about the times spent with my aunt. I think the fact that I have not seen her much this year has changed my feelings toward this seeming mundane image. It makes me cherish the simple moments had with loved ones. It’s interesting to me how time can change the interpretation of the image.
