Creating Crewmates
This lesson offers students a chance to show their creativity by reimagining a video game character most of them see everyday. Not only did these students get to create their own personal characters they also learned how to use some of the digital art making tools that google offers. Learning these tools will help students to navigate countless softwares they might have to work with in the future. Not only will this help them understand how these digital tools work but, it shows students that creating can be done anywhere with almost anything.

In May 2021, I will be graduating from Temple University with a Bachelors in Art Education. I have always known I wanted to be an art educator. My first memories are teaching my younger family members in my grandmother's basement, so excited to show them what I was learning in school. My love of art and education has only grown since.
I truly believe that art education is something that can inspire and encourage students to see their inner potential. Art has helped guide me though my own life and struggles, I know it can do the same for others. My goal as an educator is to show all of my students and their community how powerful and meaningful art is and can be.
I hope you enjoy and take the time to look through the work done by the amazing students.
