I have been working on paintings based on memory, and trying to display a scene in the past from my memories. After quarantining for the summer, my partner and I went to our favorite beach, where he proposed. This image is the memory of our beach and the peace and serenity it brings to me.

Fiona Martinez-Krippner is a painter who grew up in Ardmore, Pennsylvania, and is now pursuing her BFA in Painting and Minor in Art History from Tyler School of Art and Architecture. She works in acrylic and oil paint and creates works inspired by memory and the places that she’s traveled over the years.
